The Call for Proposals is NOW OPEN for the 2026 Maryland Rural Health Conference, October 19, and the Mid-Atlantic Rural Health Transformation & Innovation Summit, October 20, at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport Hotel in Linthicum Heights, MD. We invite you to submit your proposal submission(s) for each event today! This is an excellent opportunity to share your research, expertise, strategies, and cutting-edge solutions with rural health leaders and professionals.
Our 2026 conference theme is Rural Health Reimagined: Bridging Gaps, Leveraging Innovation, and Creating Lasting Impact. We welcome the following session formats: presentation, panel discussion, certification, roundtable, and workshop. Sessions will be 60 minutes including time for questions and answers. Presentations are in-person only. Proposals should align with the theme and one of the following three tracks for both events: Transforming the Rural Health Workforce, Sustainable Access to Innovative Care, and Empowering Rural Marylanders to Eat for Health. These tracks align with the Maryland Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program Strategic Goals/ Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) priorities. MRHA is also looking for submissions for an Innovation in Care Strategies and Models Plenary on the Monday, October 19th, for the annual Maryland Rural Health Conference.
The 2026 Conference Planning Committee will evaluate the submitted abstracts. All accepted presenters must register for the conference and are responsible for their own registration fees, travel, hotel arrangements and costs. The main presenter will be able to register at a reduced presenter rate for the conference. We look forward to your submissions!
Deadline to submit: June 15, 2026, by 11:59 pm ET with notifications to go out to the primary contact via email late July or early August.
