The Call for Proposals is now closed! We are no longer accepting new submissions for the annual Maryland Rural Health Conference or Mid-Atlantic Rural Health Transformation & Innovation Summit.
Thank you to those who have submitted a proposal. We appreciate the time and effort of all those who have submitted. Notifications of the abstract status will go out to the primary contact via email late July or early August. Please stay tuned for updates on the program.
Our 2026 theme is Rural Health Reimagined: Bridging Gaps, Leveraging Innovation, and Creating Lasting Impact. The tracks for both events are: Transforming the Rural Health Workforce, Sustainable Access to Innovative Care, and Empowering Rural Marylanders to Eat for Health. These tracks align with the Maryland Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program Strategic Goals/ Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) priorities.
The 2026 Planning Committee will evaluate and score the submitted abstracts. All accepted presenters must register for the event and are responsible for their own registration fees, travel, hotel arrangements and costs. The main presenter will be able to register at a reduced presenter rate.
