The Garrett County Steps to Better Health Committee has announced Saturday, April 15th, as the date for the 2023 Garrett County Health Fair and Family Fun Festival. The event will take place at the CARC (Community Aquatic & Recreation Complex) at Garrett College in McHenry from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. 

The Garrett County Health Fair & Family Fun Festival is a free community event designed to increase health awareness and to promote the health-oriented resources available throughout the local community.  

In past years, nearly 1,000 people attended the event annually. However, this is the first Garrett County Health Fair since 2019.  The event typically includes as many as 80 informational booths and features many door prizes and other giveaways. 

The Garrett County Steps Committee is composed of representatives from local businesses and public agencies who have the desire to improve the overall wellness of the community. The fair is free to all participants and supported by generous sponsors.
